From the day we were introduced to the ICT419 and the term plan of this module, I was worried about the major assignment, "design and prepare 10 minutes video tutorial on any topic of your teaching
subject using Camtasia." However, as the classes went on, I was able to use the camtasia software to make a video tutorial.
The video tutorial that I and my classmates made will serve as informative tool for the viewers/audience. The video was made based on the subject/topic assigned by our module tutor. For me, I made a video tutorial for class PP mathematics lesson on a topic "Identifying Patterns in the Environment." Fig: using camtsia to edit video
I used texts, pictures and graphics to make a power point presentation. While making presentation, I browsed the information using different sources and inserted only the relevant and content appropriate ones. In this way I used the the knowledge of using ICT as informative tool, where information are analyzed. My ppt is shared through the link below:
This video tutorial will serve as an informative tool for the viewers because they can watch the video and get the information on the patterns in the environment. The information are given in the form of text, sounds and photos so the viewers can watch and evaluate the content and use the most relevant ones as per their requirement.
After making the video, I uploaded it on Facebook along with my classmates. Here, I realized that Facebook is serving as informative tool. When the videos are uploaded on Facebook page, the viewers can watch videos from Facebook page and extract the appropriate information from there. I also used that Facebook page to watch videos and comment on the videos after analyzing the content of the video.

The most difficult judgement I had to make after watching the videos was to choose the best video and vote.
