From my understanding, ICT as a communicative tool is a plate form that provide great opportunity for the teachers and learners to interact online without having to meet face to face. It help teachers to connect with other teachers (colleagues), students to connect with their peers and students to connect with teachers to keep in touch and exchange the ideas and learning materials. People use communicative tools such as email, Skype, we chat, messenger, telegram, whats app, google classroom, Vle, bolg, video conferencing and zoom meetings.
The use of Communicative tool in EDUCATION increased in Bhutan since the outbreak of the global pandemic Covid19 in our country. The schools and collages were closed and the teaching and learning are happening online with the use of communicative tools. All the teachers and students were made almost compulsory to use smart phones and other electronic gadgets.
The communicative tool can be classified as Asynchronous and synchronous.
Example of Asynchronous communication tools that we are using are:

Blog is also example of asynchronous tool.
When both the receiver and the sender are online we use communicative tools like call and video conferencing. The call can be either phone call or we call make call from other chat forums like we chat, messenger, telegram.

After using both the asynchronous and synchronous communicative tool I can say that some asynchronous tool can be used as synchronous tool. For example, G mail and we chat can be asynchronous as well as synchronous because we can use these two tools when both the receivers and sender are online or when one is online.
After
reading about ICT as communicative tool and using different tools, I
realized that although ICT as a communicative tool serves number of help
in sharing, learning and teaching, it can be a dis-tractor and
addictive tool if we do not be cautions about its purpose/uses.
From all the communicative tools used as a means of teaching and learning, I feel more comfortable using Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) forum, gmail,We Chat and blog to learn, discuss and share. I will be sharing about experiences of using these tools in my blog later.
