After attending the lesson on co-constructive tool I understood co-constructive tool as a plate form to work collaboratively online. Use of co-constructive tools focuses on collaboration and partnership working.
Examples of co-constructive tool used in our teaching and learning are as follows:
- Blogs: We are using blog to write our reflection on ICT lessons, read through other's post, comment, and exchange our ideas.
- Google
docs (docs.google.com): we are using google docs to make a collaborative lesson plan. The discussions are made through comments. All the groups members can read and edit the lesson plan although we are working from different place.
- Discussion
forum on portals (pce.edu.bt): We are using vle discussion forums to discuss and clear our doubts. We share our ideas and learn collaboratively. These applications can be used as asynchronous as well as synchronous.
The zoom meeting session on co-constructive tool helped me to work using docs.google.com, which is totally a new learning to me.
How to use google docs by our tutor
Use of the above mentioned tools benefited me as following:
- work in collaboration with my friends.
- co-edit the work in google docs
- explore new features in computer and
- it helped me to know more about ICT as teaching and learning tool.
Watch this video to know more about using google docs.
Your understanding of co-constructive tool is good and the use of images and videos make it more understandable for me.
