ICT in Teaching and Learning

The use of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) has made life easier in many aspects among which Education is no exception. With the changing Education system in our country (shift in paradigm, changing learner and learning environment, different learning style and preferences and
 political changes) the ICT integration in Bhutanese Education system is taking place. Therefore, ICT419, ICT in Teaching and Learning module was introduced to final year student teachers/trainees to equip us with relevant pedagogical skills and ideas in using ICT as an effective teaching and learning tool. It will also help us to use appropriate ICT based resources which will later help us in our teaching career.
When I first heard about integrating ICT in teaching and Learning, I though it is all about using electronic gadgets in the classroom but later with the help of my module tutor and classmates, i found out that my notion on Integrating ICT in Teaching and Learning was wrong. Henceforth, I will be reflecting and sharing about my understanding on ICT as five different tools.
